Langskib Basecamp
Langskib is located on the cliff side of a rugged island approximately twenty miles by float plane from the village of Temagami. Cabins are rustic and nestled among the towering pine and cedar trees. The dining hall, with it's stone fire place and spectacular view of Sharprock inlet and Maple Mountain, provides a perfect backdrop to share meals and a picturesque view of the Temagami region. The traditional Long House, situated in a central location is the ideal meeting place for small groups and the community as a whole.
A circular trail around the island leads to our high ropes course and other group initiatives and provides a wonderful opportunity for participants to play, learn and explore their natural surroundings.
In basecamp, each participant shares a cabin with several friends, enjoys home-cooked meals and experiences a warm, family atmosphere—both before heading out on the trail and again when the trip returns.
